COMMENTS FROM GRAA'S PRESIDENT, DR. PIEPER Although our planned speaker had to postpone until later in the fall, some 35 regulars turned out for some mid-summer camaraderie and, as expected, the usual Bea /Barney feast for lunch . We haven't had a project reunion since the highly successful IMP gathering of about a year ago. That will change with an OAO reunion some time next spring. Maureen Locke has graciously volunteered to be its organizer. We look forward to seeing a lot of OAO old timers there.
LETTERS WE GET LETTERS;.
GARY VINCENT - Via e-mail, he's doing great in South Beach, OR (according to his daughter, Theresa Cooper).
HARRY B. HULL: Enjoys reading about Goddard activities, news about friends - sends thanks for all the efforts put into the Newsletter. Presently living in the area - (New address in Laurel, MD noted.)
ANDERSON, ART & MARY: Appreciate the excellent work and time that goes into publishing and sending the Newsletter - especially thankful now since the move to Edgewater, FL. (New address noted) making it more difficult to get news of the people and happenings pertaining to GSFC. Although retired for over 6 years, still tries to keep up with all of the programs and people. Continues to keep on the cutting edge of everything worthwhile while never letting "our" people to drift into the background. That's what being a part of GSFC is valued the most. Even though Art feels he personally never "made the news" as a safety specialist, he was constantly aware of his contribution to the effort. Since moving in March, Art has new career (an old high school love) in woodworking. He's setting up shop and hopes to start making furniture for new home and family members. Really enjoying the Good Life - sends an open invitation to all their friends to come see them - only an hour from most of Florida's major attractions.
PEGGY WELLS: Says hello to all the hard workers at GRAA. and sends thanks to those who faithfully plan, stuff, and mail - it's a great organization for the "alumni" of Goddard - resides in Laurel, MD.
CHRIS BRYAN: Now residing in Delaware - sends a note that he really enjoys receiving the info contained in the Newsletter, still misses the "Old" GSFC, moved inland & still "gonna show up" at a meeting.
