Our ad for an Editor/Typist was answered by several. However, Elaine Montgomery was first in line -- & now -- she's stuck with it. We all owe a vote of thanks to Mary Hammersley for her many years of devoted support -- often when both eyes were in bad condition. She's now depending on her restored vision in the one eye she thought was a goner. Good luck Mary -- good health. Looking forward to seeing you at some of our functions.

ROBERT ORFF "I've taken an assignment overseas & enjoy hearing the news of friends & coworkers from 'the good old days!' Best wishes for the holidays."
DAVE HAYKIN -- "I don't often come to GRAA luncheons but that doesn't mean that I've forgotten my erstwhile colleagues. Like most retirees are, I suspect, I'm busy and a 52-mile round trip does take a lot of time.
I see Nelson Spencer about every other week. He has that old twinkle in his eye but he is not very mobile and I don't think that he could manage a GRAA lunch. My guess is that he would appreciate your cards and notes: His address is in the GRAA Directory."

GEORGE WOODS -- "Hope all is well there Scruffy & I doing fine. Had
a nice quiet summer -- cut grass, kept a small garden. Went to Mass.
three times to see my daughter.
I miss the stuffing & the Appalachian Drive -- they were always fun to do.
You all take care we will do the same here."
CAROLYN C. JONES "Thank you for the GRAA membership directory. It will be invaluable to me when communicating with old former employee friends. I appreciate all the hard work that went into making this publication available to me. Please extend my thanks to those who worked on this project."
IDA R. FULLER -- "I really appreciate receiving the GRAA Newsletter.
each month & would miss not getting it -- so want to notify you :that I
have moved. My hat is off to all those faithful volunteers who help
get the Newsletter out to all who look forward to getting it."

AL LAWRENCE -- "Many thanks for the Newsletter which I have enjoyed over the years. Also, the membership Directory.
I started with GSFC in May 1960 and was located in the Anacostia Naval Facility. I clearly recall moving to Bldg #1 at Greenbelt & having to walk a plank to get into the building which was still under construction.
Hope to visit and help with the mailroom stuffing, etc. Many Thanks."
