COMMENTS FROM GRAA'S JULY LUNCHEON BY MR. ROBERT HUTCHISON: Our July Luncheon saw a lively "coming together" of GRAA members hosting nineteen competitively selected undergrad and graduate honor students from fourteen states and Puerto Rico who are representing the current NASA GSFC Academy class of the Office of University Programs directed by Dr. Richard Fahey. Wanting to hear of the early days these future Goddard leaders (we hope!) were keen listeners in pre and post-lunch huddles with those who survived the dynamics, demands and excitement of GSFC's origin. With Academy background by David Lamb of the Academy, Bob Morrissey Emceeing for Dr. Pieper, Bob Hutchison encouraging others to add their recollections of the beginning of "The Big G"together with Barney and Bea's always tasteful food, a truly memorable time was had with these outstanding young people.
MAIL STUFFERS FOR JULY: Agnes Smith, Bob Wigand, Bob & Mary Wilson, Dick Tagler, Eloise Tarter and Elaine Montgomery.
TREASURER'S REPORT: Donations were received from Ellie Richards and Evelyn Baumann.
