COMMENTS FROM GRAA'S PRESIDENT, DR. PIEPER: By the time you read this, Y2K will have been either a disaster or a nothing. Were you ready? Did anything happen to you? We can all compare notes at the January GRAA lunch. We will also be entertained by Bob Hutchison, longtime director of personnel and frequent MAD actor at the center, who will talk about the early days from his special perspective. Bob brought many of us into the Goddard fold, so it should be good fun. Plan to be with us. Happy New Year to all.

LETTERS WE GET LETTERS!

BOB MARSH: "It's been a long time - too long - between the last time I've communicated and now, little can be said for an excuse but much has happened. The most important issue was the very great loss of my wife of 47 years (Pat) last July 2lst. Pat lost the valiant battle she fought concerning her melanoma cancer. She went home to our Lord and left three children and ten grandchildren. My home of 33 years in Columbia was sold this past June and I have moved to Virginia. Pat and I had purchased a home on the little Wicomico River in the Northern Neck of Virginia in l995. As I leave my pier, in ten minutes I am in the Chesapeake Bay fishing for Blue fish, Spanish Mackerel, or Rockfish. Catching crabs right off my pier is a favorite pastime and the cooking of crabs and freshly caught fish is about the best eating you can imagine. I read every issue of the GRAA and am continually gratified to have been associated with Goddard and NASA. Please keep up the excellent work and I'd appreciate the continued delivery of this very important news." NOTE: Your new address in Heathsville, VA together w/telephone number and email address has been noted for the updated Directory.

HOFFMAN, CHAS. W. & MARIAN: "We wish to notify that after 25 years, we have changed our address (sold our home and bought a condo at Leisure World) - we want to thank everyone for the splendid job you are doing keeping us informed of current events." NOTE: New address/telephone number noted for updated Directory.

NANCY HODGENS: Sends thanks for keeping everyone up to date with the GSFC news! Change of address to Colonial Beach, VA and e-mail address noted for updated Directory.
