ROAD PICKUP; Equipment has been re scheduled for the cleaning of the road after the Tuesday, April 13,1999 luncheon - WEATHER PERMITTING - So please come prepared. There's a lot to do - The county requires a pickup at least four times a year - we must do at least a couple more before the first of June or we lose our title including the signs posted on Good Luck Road!!! So see you there - Be a "SWATTER" on the Swat Team.

RECIPES WANTED FOR GEWA COOKBOOK: Is your favorite recipe one that has been served at an office or lunch party? Was it passed on to you by your grandparents, or is it an original? Goddard has a heritage that spans four decades and a population from across the U.S. and many countries. (The Cookbook will be for sale at the GEWA store and Visitors' Center). Recipe categories are: Appetizers, Side Dishes, Entrees, Desserts, Beverages, et al. All recipes will be published - so send them to the following address by COB May 30th:

JOSEPH P. GARVEY - Died 3/9/99 - Retired in 1980 - Held engineering and administrative jobs with NASA.
CHARLES LUNDSTEDT: Received a note from his wife, Dorothy, that Charles died 10/4/95 in Arizona.
