Dr. Elsayed Talaat is the Director of the Office of Space Weather Observations at the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). In this role, he provides leadership and oversight of the development, acquisition, integration, installation, and acceptance of major system elements for NOAA's operational environmental satellite systems.
