LUNCHEON MEETING

The next meeting will be the second Tuesday in June -- JUNE 10TH, at 11:30 AM at the Goddard Recreation Center. GRAA's new homepage will be discussed at this Luncheon. At our May meeting, we had an excellent presentation of HOBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE by Dr. Ed Cheng who substituted for Dr. David Leckrone. The recent news releases from HOBBLE have kept Dr. Leckrone very busy and interfered with his attendance. The Eleventh Annual Meeting of the League will be June 11, 1997, at NASA HO - All Day - from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A free reception will be held at 5:30 - 7:00 PM with an Open Bar. The program will Adm. Daniel Golden, Dep. Adm. Gen. Jack Daily and Safety Admit Fred Gregory.

GEWA TRIP TO NEW YORE CITY -- SATURDAY - JUNE 21, 1997

Vacation for a day in New York City. MotorCoach dpts. GSFC Building 8 approximately 6:00 AM. -- arrives in NY in time to purchase half-price theater tickets, visit the museums or the Statue of Liberty, meander thou Central Park, - dine in one of the many theme restaurants. A map and info will be provided no that you can plan your day -- shopping, etc. You plan your day. The bus will leave Bldg 8 Parking lot approximately 6:00 AM -- drop-off in New York City Rockefeller Center Plaza. Sign up today and pickup your Big Apple Tour Guide. Tickets sold as long as seats are available. COST: $42.00 -- includes R/T bus transportation and continental breakfast. Bus should return to Goddard around 11:00 PM.
